Yet the Chapter did not give enough details on hand collating the raw data into the correct format. If the data is incorrectly collated, then improper data plots are generated. The following chapters then assume you generated a graph, and how you can change axis names, multidata colours, etc.

+Tout compte fait, je ne peux pas recommander ce livre à un nouvel utilisateur. Ce n'est pas un livre didactique. C'est plus le livre d'un utilisateur expérimenté qui a déjà utilisé Gnuplot. L'auteur est un scientifique spécialiste des données et je me demande s'il n'a pas écrit pour son public par mégarde et non pour un nouvel utilisateur. Je suis persuadé que le « tutorat dans des forums en ligne » peut être un facteur clé pour devenir un utilisateur expérimenté de Gnuplot.
