 In the land before time, when I had just come out of Sinix-Z training, bright eyed and bushy tailed, my boss decided to give me the monkeypality as client because I “knew that UNIX stuff". Needless to say, I hit a total blank the very first time I stood before a server. Looking back now with 20/20 vision, I probably should have started and stopped the services to see if I could get it going again, but the only thing that came to mind was: init 6. Quaking in my boots, I entered the command and hit enter. The server did its thing and came up without error. I poked my head out the "server room" and asked the accountant in the next office to try again. Everything seemed to work fine.  A: I am going to assume you mean the output of ‘neofetch’. If you look nicely at those Arch linux screenshots, you will see the command is neofetch (there are also other options).  Q: I wonder if you can help me. I tried to install steam on ubuntu 18.04 via the steam installer. It installed, but during the update, the power went out. I can’t run it now. I can’t update it.  +R. Je vais supposer que vous vouliez parler de la sortie de « neofetch ». Si vous regardez toutes les captures d'écran d'Arch Linux de près, vous verrez que la commande est neofetch (d'autres options existent aussi). Pour l'installer, il suffit de taper sudo apt install neofetch, puis tapez neofetch pour la lancer.

Vous pourrez remarquer que de gros blocs de vos trucs sont manquants, surtout les trucs que vous avez copiés et collés à partir d'autres documents OnlyOffice. Parfois, ce sont des paragraphes entiers qui manquent ; aussi, il faut tout vérifier attentivement.

 +R. Je peux vous confirmer qu'il s'agit d'un bug. Je ne l'ai jamais remarqué auparavant, mais je viens de le tester sur un ordinateur de bureau et un portable et, sans aucun doute, il se déplace. Puisqu'il ne se déplace pas toujours, j'essaie d'en déterminer les causes. Nous devrons attendre qu'une mise à jour le corrige, ou vous pouvez remplir un rapport de bug.

Contrairement aux dernières versions, Windows 7 a des pilotes qui font un arrêt matériel du WiFi, alors que les versions récentes font un arrêt logiciel (en mode avion). Ubuntu peut activer un WiFi qui a été arrêté par logiciel, mais vous devrez retourner sous Windows 7 pour y relancer le WiFi. Par ailleurs, il se peut que votre ordinateur/portable ait un interrupteur physique, comme certains portables chez SONY. Encore une autre possibilité serait que la carte WiFi n'est pas tout à fait en place.

 +R. Tout ce dont vous avez besoin est Xubuntu tel qu'il est actuellement. Créez un nouveau panneau à partir des paramètres. (Utilisez le signe plus à côté de « Panneau 0 »). Ajoutez les lanceurs voulus. Ajustez la profondeur du panneau à quelques lignes. Raccourcissez le pourcentage de longueur pour qu'il s'accorde avec votre présélection. Ensuite, rendez ce panneau transparent (sous l'onglet apparence) et voilà ! Des boutons flottants. Vous pouvez même les masquer automatiquement en masquant le panneau automatiquement.

 +Q. Ubuntu 18.04 se plante de façon aléatoire et je ne peux même pas utiliser ctrl+alt+suppr. Je dois débrancher le câble d'alimentation. Quelle pourrait en être la cause ?

 +R. Installez le pilote propriétaire de Nvidia. Certaines cartes (6-series) ont des problèmes. Désactivez la mise en veille/l'hibernation lorsque votre machine est sur secteur. À ce stade, je ne sais pas pourquoi, mais je sais que cela fonctionne, puisque j'ai déjà vu le problème.

 +Q. Salut, ma question ne concerne pas tant Ubuntu lui-même, mais plutôt Python REPL. Contrairement à la 18.04, la 16.04 ne supporte pas la complétion automatique, etc. Comment remédier à cela ? Je viens de découvrir l'Open Source !

 +R. Je ne suis pas certain d'avoir compris ce que vous vouliez dire, mais installez bpython/bpython3 (selon la version de Python que vous utilisez), car il prend en charge des trucs comme le surlignage de la syntaxe et la complétion automatique.
