Their early suggestions were to change some of my default boot options, yet at this rate I decided to look for other options.  It should be noted that I drifted over to the Project Trident project. It is the graphical version of the former TrueOS desktop. I followed the instructions and placed Project Trident onto the HP laptop. I booted the computer and installed using the default options. At this time Project Trident was under the 18.04 version.  And it is fully installed with the same issues of having to setup my Wifi. However this time my Realtek wireless card was recognized by the installer, and the Lumina DE is surprisingly refined, polished, and resolved.

-After speaking to Project Trident staff and GhostBSD, I made some interesting observations about these 2 similar operating systems, but opposite approaches to creating the BSD end user environment. GhostBSD uses a larger portion of GTK, Project Trident uses Qt. GhostBSD works well with Intel architecture, and Project Trident covers a wider equipment ranges. Unfortunately, my HP laptop is powered by AMD architecture.

+Je suis passé sur Telegram et j'ai posté mes questions. Eric et toute l'équipe ont été rapides pour solutionner le  problème. Leurs premières suggestions étaient de changer certaines des options de lancement par défaut ; à ce rythme, j'ai décidé de chercher d'autres options. J'en profite pour vous indiquer que j'ai basculé sur le projet Project Trident. C'est la version graphique de l'ancien bureau de True OS. J'ai suivi les instructions et mis Project Trident sur le portable HP. J'ai relancé l'ordinateur et l'ai installé en utilisant les options par défaut. À ce moment-là, Project Trident était en version 18.04. Et il s'est installé complètement bien que, comme avant, je doive paramétrer mon WiFi. Cependant, ce coup-ci, ma carte sans fil Realtek a été reconnue par l'installeur et c'est surprenant comme l'environnement de bureau Lumina est raffiné, poli et arrangé.

+Après avoir parlé à l'équipe de Project Trident et à GhostBSD, j'ai fait quelques observations intéressantes à propos de ces deux systèmes d'exploitation similaires, mais aux approches opposées pour la création de l'environnement de bureau de l'utilisateur final de BSD. GhostBSD utilise une plus grande part de GTK, alors que Trident utilise Qt. GhostBSD travaille bien avec l'architecture Intel et Project Trident couvre une plus large palette d'équipements. Malheureusement, mon portable HP est propulsé par une architecture AMD.
