 We have the usual suspects this month; Python, Darktable, Inkscape, and Automation, but we have a newcomer in editing old photos with Krita. Yes, it's not GIMP, but Krita. This one will definitely be interesting as my first choice for any sort of editing is GIMP. I think of Krita is being more of an art thing, but I'm about to be proved wrong.
-We continue with another distro review. This month we have Xubuntu (19.10) under the spotlight. For our second review we have a look at Olive. A video editing tool. I hadn't heard of it until I received the article. I don't think it'll beat Kdenlive (which I currently use) but it's always good to have an up and coming alternative that may well overthrow my current tool of choice.

I'm currently considering removing the news section from the magazine and only using the news snippets for the FCM site and for the Weekly News podcast. So, if you want to keep reading the news in FCM you need to let me know. I don't mind putting in the work if it's being read, but is it? Talk to me people.

+Comme d'habitude, ce mois-ci, nous avons Python, Darktable, Inkscape et Automation, mais il y a aussi un nouveau venu qui présente l'édition de vieilles photos avec Krita. Oui, il ne s'agit pas de GIMP, mais de Krita. Cet article promet d'être très intéressant, car ma préférence pour l'édition photo de toutes sortes est GIMP. Je considère Krita comme  un programme artistique, plutôt qu'un logiciel pour les retouches photos, mais il paraît que je me fourvoie.
+Dans la suite des critiques de distributions, ce mois-ci, Xubuntu est à la une. Dans la deuxième critique, c'est Olive, un outil d'édition de vidéos, qui sera examiné. Je n'en avais pas entendu parler avant de recevoir l'article. Je ne pense pas qu'il peut faire mieux que Kdenlive (que j'utilise actuellement), mais il est toujours bien d'avoir un logiciel alternatif prometteur qui pourrait bien surpasser l'outil que je préfère en ce moment.

+Si vous aimez lire les Actus chaque mois, le moment est venu de faire entendre votre voix. Arnfried nous quitte, mais les Actus seront reprises par, vous l'avez deviné, Erik. Actuellement, j'envisage la possibilité d'enlever la rubrique des Actus du magazine, en utilisant les nouvelles brèves uniquement pour le site du FCM et le podcast hebdomadaire. Aussi, si vous voulez continuer à pouvoir lire les Actus dans le FCM, vous devez me le dire. Peu m'importe le travail nécessaire SI vous en profitez vraiment, mais est-ce bien le cas ? Parlez-m'en, les gens !
