-I am going to skip the drums for now – let us just distil the melody. I want you to keep the melody in your heads, pa-pa-pa paa… Now open LMMS and clear what is there in the song editor. I am going to drag in the “orion string01” and double-click in the very first black block, or right-click > open piano roll. This is where we will make our melody. (You should see it change to a lighter color when you do.)

Si votre note est plus longue ou plus courte, attrapez-la par le petit bout blanc que vous voyez à la fin, et faites-la glisser à la bonne taille. Si vous cliquez sur une note, l'icône devrait se transformer en main, et vous pouvez la déplacer si elle n'est pas dans la bonne position. Regardez l'image ; le singe voit, puis le singe fait.

 Even if this sounds like a tune, the fun part is messing with it. We want to take it apart and see what is inside, then put it back together as something that is the same – but different. That is how a remix is born.

+Voici comment moi, je crée un morceau ; vous pouvez travailler différemment. Je fais ce tutoriel pour les personnes qui n'ont pas de claviers sophistiqués ou d'instruments MIDI. Vous devriez être capable de faire tout ce que je fais avec seulement Ubuntu OS et LMMS. Qui sait, vous serez peut-être le/a prochain/e roi/reine du remix italo-disco.
+Même si cela ressemble déjà à un morceau, ce qui est amusant c'est de le modifier. Nous voulons le démonter et voir ce qu'il y a à l'intérieur, puis le remonter pour obtenir quelque chose qui est identique, mais différent. C'est ainsi que naît un remix.
+Vous vous souvenez que je vous ai dit de garder la mélodie dans la tête ? Chantez-la en jouant la vôtre. Est-ce que ça sonne bien ? Alors c'est génial ! Si ce n'est pas le cas, changez-la. N'oubliez pas de sauvegarder votre travail souvent .
