He was back at the office at the speed of dark. It never happened again. Les priorités de quelques personnes sont peut-être différentes et les changer peut nécessiter un tour de passe-passe, mais la sécurité est capitale pour tout le monde. Le message peut ne pas passer jusqu’à ce que ça devienne concret, et généralement, c’est trop tard.

 A: Usually the gaming laptops are developed for Windows only, unless it is from a Linux vendor like System 76. It takes time for Linux to catch up as the laptop was not made for it and there is no incentive for OEM’s to support Linux. Your options are to troll the forums and wait, or go back to Windows for a while.

+Q : J’ai essayé d’exécuter Ubuntu sur mon portable de jeu, un Asus ROG, mais la mise en veille ne fonctionne pas et les ventilateurs tournent sans cesse au maximum. L’écran veut bien devenir vide, mais pas se rallumer. La résolution de l’écran n’est pas bonne et je n’arrive pas à la changer. Le portable est neuf et je ne veux pas le casser. Je débute sous Linux, car Windows 10 me faisait ch-er, en changeant le navigateur chaque fois qu’il faisait une mise à jour, mais Linux semble cassé ?

 A: If you pin your panel icon to plank, clicking on it a few times should hide the top panel (and any other visible panel in XFCE). Now you can reclaim that space when your browser (or whatever) is full-screen.
