As I mentioned before, some file managers will split your view in two, so you can get away without installing an extra two-pane file manager like ‘midnight commander’ or something similar. Though midnight commander is a godsend when you are working in the terminal.

Very broadly speaking, they will not all conform to Chrome standard keys, for instance F3 on one will open a search whilst in others it will have no effect. We have not touched on any of the other keys (modifiers) but you can already see how simple F-keys (which some people use so rarely that they have keyboards without F-keys!), can be handy as all heck. Now that we are in your browser, you may notice that most of them support F12 as “inspect”. This is where YOU can make changes to the website you are using. This is more of an advanced topic we can cover another time, but I want you to see the power in this. I want you to feel like the genie in Disney’s Aladdin. “unlimited power at your fingertips!!” :)

Annoying as all heck, right? Le gestionnaire de fichiers étant au centre de l'attention (c'est-à-dire qu'il se trouve au-dessus des autres fenêtres et que la barre de titre est coloriée comme étant en premier plan, si vous avez une barre de titre), je veux que vous appuyiez sur F1 et que vous voyiez ce qui se passe. Maintenant que vous le savez, je veux que vous appuyiez sur F2 et que vous voyiez ce qui se passe, tout en gardant le gestionnaire de fichiers en point de mire. +Vous êtes donc heureux de connaître un peu mieux votre gestionnaire de fichiers maintenant... ou vous avez appris quelque chose de nouveau (bravo à vous !). Maintenant, au même rythme que précédemment, je veux que vous ouvriez votre navigateur préféré et que vous répétiez l'exercice ci-dessus. Si vous avez plusieurs navigateurs, je veux que vous en preniez un d'une autre famille et que vous le refassiez. De manière très générale, ils ne se conformeront pas tous aux touches standard de Chrome, par exemple F3 sur l'un d'entre eux ouvrira une recherche alors que dans d'autres, cela n'aura aucun effet. Nous n'avons pas abordé les autres touches (modificateurs), mais vous pouvez déjà constater que les simples touches F (que certaines personnes utilisent si rarement qu'elles ont des claviers sans touches F !) peuvent être extrêmement utiles.

Appuyez sur la touche F12 (page suivante, en haut à gauche). Dans les images suivantes, je vais utiliser Firefox, mais la méthode est la même pour la plupart des autres navigateurs.

+Pouvez-vous repérer la ligne qui dit « cookie overlay » ? Je veux que vous cliquiez dessus une fois, pour la mettre en évidence, puis que vous fassiez un clic droit dessus. Vous devriez voir le menu suivant :
+Maintenant, cliquez sur « Supprimer le nœud ».
+Ne vous inquiétez pas, vous ne casserez rien si vous vous trompez et supprimez la mauvaise ligne ; vous pouvez simplement recharger la page avec la touche F que vous avez trouvée lorsque vous avez essayé plus tôt.
+Une fois la ligne supprimée, il suffit d'appuyer à nouveau sur la touche F12 et la page sera débarrassée de la pellicule sale qui y était superposée. Vous vous sentez déjà puissant ? Je suis heureux si cela vous a ouvert les yeux. Votre ordinateur vous appartient et doit être plus qu'une station Spotify.
+Ce qu'il faut retenir, c'est que VOUS pouvez faire des choses. Vous n'avez pas à compter sur les autres pour faire les choses à votre place. Je veux dire que le module complémentaire de cookies que j'utilisais empêchait rekt.network de fonctionner (qui a besoin de Spotify ?), alors je l'ai désactivé. Cela provoquait à son tour des popups de cookies sur les sites sur lesquels je naviguais, alors j'ai sorti ma clé à molette et j'ai « réglé » le problème d'un simple coup.
+Je pourrais faire un titre clickbait, du genre « les sociétés de cookies le détestent, voyez comment il répare les superpositions avec une simple astuce » et les colle sur le Web, mais plus vous en savez...
