+Je viens d'essayer d'installer un gestionnaire de fichiers multi-plateforme pour une critique dans le FCM. J'ai téléchargé le fichier MSI pour Windows et j'ai essayé de l'installer. La toute première chose qu'il a essayé de faire a été de télécharger les composants de Microsoft Edge. Je n'autorise rien de « Edge » sur mon système ; en fait, je l'ai supprimé complètement, à partir des racines, même dans windowsSXS. Regardons les choses en face, l'époque du bureau Windows est révolue. Maintenant, je sais que le jeu est la raison numéro un de l'utilisation de Windows, et je suis d'accord ; cependant, il y a encore des choses qui doivent être travaillées POUR QUE le jeu sous Linux fonctionne comme il le devrait, comme le contrôle des ventilateurs. Je veux que mes ventilateurs montent en puissance plus tôt et gardent ma machine plus fraîche, car j'ai vu trop souvent ce que fait la chaleur. (Vous vous souvenez de MSI afterburner ? Je ne sais pas ce qu'il en est maintenant, car il ne fonctionne pas sur ma machine actuelle, mais il était assez astucieux.)

 Fast forward to April 2022, and one of the Ubuntu desktop team members, “Kevinvandine” posted an interesting tid-bit on the discourse: “Canonical is going all in on the gaming experience on Ubuntu and we’ve started building out a team dedicated to working on just that.“ (https://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/introducing-early-access-to-the-steam-snap/28082).

Ubuntu étant le visage de facto de Linux, et probablement le plus connu et le plus discuté, il est merveilleux de les voir rendre Ubuntu attrayant pour les joueurs sur PC.

 This will put the focus back on Canonical, I think, because we have to face facts, that they have been slacking the last few years, focussing on Snap and letting things like the Software centre die. Speaking of the software centre’s UX... if they could adopt something like Solus’s proposed software centre (not sure if it is only mockups), or even the Electron Apps store. I would contribute to something like that. It makes Linux SEXY.

+Cela va remettre l'accent sur Canonical, je pense, parce que nous devons nous rendre à l'évidence, qu'ils se sont relâchés ces dernières années, se concentrant sur Snap et laissant mourir des choses comme le centre des logiciels. En parlant de l'interface utilisateur du centre des logiciels... s'ils pouvaient adopter quelque chose comme le centre des logiciels proposé par Solus (je ne sais pas si ce ne sont que des maquettes), ou même la boutique d'applications Electron. Je contribuerais à quelque chose comme ça. Cela rendrait Linux SEXY.
