Et, alors, j’ai ressenti le crissement horrible de sucre sous les touches.

+Et d’un seul coup, j’ai tout compris. J’ai éloigné mon téléphone de 10 cm encore et il n’était pas détecté. J’ai tenu le casque au-dessus du clavier et il s’est connecté tout de suite. L’utilisatrice avait renversé une boisson sucrée dans le portable. Quand je lui ai posé la question, elle m’a dit que la machine était « d’occasion » et que c’était comme cela dès le départ. Cependant, en consultant le registre des actifs, j’ai vu qu’il s’agissait d’une machine neuve. Elle était « d’occasion » uniquement parce qu’un utilisateur système s’y était mis – pour paramétrer le Mac au départ. Parfois, je me demande ce que pensent les utilisateurs à propos des gens de l'IT. Si quelque chose a fonctionné pendant cinq mois, puis ne fonctionnait plus après que vous avez renversé votre boisson dessus, vous ne pouvez pas dire que c’était comme ça au départ, car nous allons découvrir la vérité. Le fait qu’elle éteigne le casque bluetooth quand j’ai essayé de m’y connecter avec mon téléphone, pour faire comme s’il y avait un autre problème, n’a fait que me démontrer qu’elle était au courant du renversement du boisson.

 A: My solution would be to plug in a USB-C dock and stick the mini SD card in there and boot it. That should satisfy the requirement. I don’t think many people do it your way, thus I think the problem is the installer rather than the port / card / writing method.

+Q : J’ai un portable Dell XPS.  Puisque c’est un Ultrabook, il n’a pas de ports USB normaux ou de DVD Rom, etc.  Je pensais être intelligent quand j’ai mis Ubuntu sur une mini carte SD et réglé le BIOS pour démarrer sur la carte SD, car il y a un port. Le processus de démarrage commence au départ, puis s’arrête en cherchant un dispositif USB amorçable ou un DVD Rom. J’ai essayé avec Exitx et MX Linux aussi, mais le résultat est le même. J’en déduis que je fais quelque chose d'erroné. J’ai écrit sur la mini carte SD avec un etcher Balena sur ma machine sous la 20.04. Une mise à jour de Windows 10 a cassé mon microphone et j’en ai eu assez, mais maintenant, l’installation d’Ubuntu m’irrite aussi.

I have asked elsewhere, but always get the same answer. Ubuntu 16.04 is not supported any more. I know it is not, but I can’t upgrade due to custom software.

 A: You probably have Firefox doing its own DNS with DNS over https? Anyway, try:
