Bien que j'aie pu comprendre l'essentiel de ce qu'elle disais, je bafouillais quand j’essayais de répondre. (J’ai un ami, que Dieu le bénisse, qui me donnait toutes les infos importantes – ce qu’il fallait regarder, etc. - et qui remplissait mon disque dur externe avec les dits tubes.)

 I installed this on Vanilla Ubuntu to test, and did not try it on Kubuntu, Xubuntu, etc, but in the flagship release, the play button launches VLC player. I don’t know how I feel about this, as I wanted an all in one, like QMPlay2.

You see, if you load it via the launcher, sometimes, you don’t know if a channel is buffering, or not going to play at all.  Just like other TV viewers, you periodically need to update the TV database. (Well it updates radio too, but you know what I mean, right?)

I suppose there are keys to record, but a newbie to the program will try to record from the red record button. On the positive side, you can choose the time-frame you would like to record, should you be making supper when your favourite show is on.
+Comme vous pouvez le voir, je pense, je lance le programme via la ligne de commande. Ce faisant, je n’essaie pas d’être un je-sais-tout, je veux voir tout simplement si une chaîne se lancera ou pas. Voyez-vous, si vous utilisez le lanceur, parfois vous ne savez pas si une chaîne est en tamponnage ou si elle ne va pas du tout se lancer. You see they expect you to add a group. Maybe I’m too ‘old n crusty’, or maybe it could be a bit more user friendly when trying to import a web channel. Either way, it would also be greatly appreciated if someone could have a private list we could just import, like with Kodi. *wink-wink, nudge-nudge.

+La partie géniale est que vous pouvez enregistrer la télé Live ou le flux, comme dans notre cas. Il suffit d’appuyer sur le bouton Record et c’est parti. C’est ici que la fenêtre flottante de VLC est un peu gênante. Je suppose qu’il y a une touche au clavier pour enregistrer, mais un débutant essayera d’enregistrer à partir du bouton Record rouge. Côté positif, vous pouvez choisir la période pendant laquelle vous voulez enregistrer, au cas où vous seriez dans la cuisine quand votre programme préféré passe.

+Tant pis. FreeTuxTV reçois un A pour ses efforts, un B pour son exécution et un C pour sa facilité d’utilisation, et je vais vous dire pourquoi. J’ai bricolé un peu et je n’arrivais pas à comprendre comment ajouter mes propres chaînes personnalisées. En fait, ils s’attendent à ce que vous ajoutiez un groupe. Je suis peut-être « trop vieux et trop grognon », ou peut-être qu’il faudra augmenter la convivialité de l’importation d’une chaîne trouvée sur le Web. D’une façon ou d’une autre, ce serait vraiment apprécié si quelqu’un avait une liste privée qu’on pouvait tout simplement importer, comme avec Kodi. *clin d’œil.
