 I do love it when I get a new PC and Windows doesn’t even get one boot. I used F2 then F8 to boot Linux Mint from a USB stick. Everything was detected and working out of the (USB) box. Time to install!

+Ça me plaît énormément quand j'ai un nouveau PC et que Windows n'a même pas droit à un démarrage. J'ai utilisé F2 suivi de F8 pour démarrer Linux Mint à partir d'une clé USB. Tout était détecté et tout fonctionnait tout de suite. C'est le moment de l'installer !
+Généralement, j'aurais fait une partition pour le système d'exploitation et une autre pour /home, mais puisque j'utilise un disque USB externe de 1 To pour mes fichiers, j'ai tout simplement fait une installation normale de Mint.
+Le premier VRAI démarrage
+Quand l'installation s'est terminée, j'ai redémarré le portable et Mint s'est affiché.
+La capture d'écran montre le système sur lequel rien ne s'exécute. Le temps de démarrage est d'environ 15 secondes (au maximum) de l'allumage jusqu'à la connexion. De la connexion jusqu'au bureau fait environ 2 secondes.

 I’m very impressed with the ASUS TUF. It’s got a good spec and at a good price. Especially since it came with a mouse and rucksack. The build quality is good, and everything works perfectly in Linux Mint. All the key combos for function (FN) and brightness, sound, and keyboard glow all work fine.

+Voyons voir... J'ai besoin de quelque chose avec laquelle le tester.
+Ah ! mon bien-aimé Euro Truck Simulator 2. Il fait environ 20 Go, mais c'est lisse et doux sur l'ASUS TUF. Il se joue probablement mieux ici que sur mon ordinateur de bureau d'autrefois qui avait un processeur graphique.
+Même la création d'un monde dans Dwarf Fortress est rapide. Et ça, c'est vraiment quelque chose.
+Conclusions
+L'ASUS TUF m'a beaucoup impressionné. Ses spécifications et son prix sont vraiment très bien. Surtout qu'il était livré avec une souris et un sac à dos. La qualité du matériel est bonne et tout fonctionne parfaitement sous Linux Mint. Tous les raccourcis clavier pour fonction (FN) et luminosité, son et rétroéclairage du clavier fonctionnent tous impeccablement.
+La seule raison pour laquelle je lui donne 4 étoiles au lieu de 5 est que la batterie fournit tout au plus 4 heures et demie. Puisqu'elle se charge assez rapidement, cela ne me pose pas de problème, mais je pense que ce pourrait être le cas pour certains.
