Quant aux notes mêmes, je veux quelque chose qui s’ouvre immédiatement, qui a le minimum qu’il faut pour écrire et qui sauvegarde mon travail – même si, moi, je ne l’ai pas fait. D’autres gens veulent davantage. Le flux de mon travail est ouvrir appli → taper, taper, taper, CTRL+s, taper, entrée. Généralement, il s’agit d’une idée, une adresse Web, une adresse mail ou du synopsis d’une histoire.

+Une ou deux fois j’ai ajouté l’enregistrement audio d’une réunion à une application de prise de notes, mais c’était quand tout ce qu’il y avait était « evernote ». J’ai regardé l’un des créateurs au travail utiliser son appli de prises de notes pour y mettre des images et voler des idées à partir de là. Puisque Electron essaie de cacher le fait qu’il s’agit de Chrome, le bouton marche arrière est caché et, si vous cliquez sur « nouvelle note » ou CTRL+n par erreur, vous ne pouvez pas retourner immédiatement à la note précédente. Beaver Note répare cela avec un bouton « notes », mais ce sera pour plus tard.

 The application is more geared at writers, the flow being top to bottom. I tried to mimic the creative type and import and re-arrange images, but you can only have them vertically. One can however, resize images on the fly, which is nice, but not drag and drop reorder. You will need to overwrite or delete an image, making it a bit counter-productive.

Les quatre boutons principaux sont le long de la gauche : ajouter une note, éditer vos notes, lister vos notes et archive. J’ai essayé d’imiter la personne créative et importer et réarranger des images, mais vous ne pouvez les avoir que verticalement. Toutefois, on peut redimensionner des images à la volée, ce qui est bien, mais on ne peut pas réorganiser en mode glisser-déposer. Vous devrez écraser ou supprimer une image, rendant Electron un peu contre-productif.

 Once you get your fingers around the keyboard short-cuts, the application has a full screen “focus mode”. This is probably the best productivity booster.

Il y a beaucoup de raccourcis, tous avec la touche CTRL ou MAJ comme modificateur et certains avec les deux. +Côté problèmes, la fonction de recherche ne fonctionnait pas : même quand je cherchais des mots comme « le » que je savais là, c’était invisible à la recherche. Je pouvais double-cliquer sur un mot, puis cliquer sur surligner pour le surligner, mais pas rechercher le mot en question et le surligner ainsi. Puisque la version était la 3.4.0, je ne m’attendais pas à trouver de tels problèmes.

 As to the “password” settings – I cannot figure out if the notes get encrypted or not, as I could not find them. I suspect it's just a browser password. The other thing you may not notice, is that the archive button is not visible, unless you hover your mouse pointer over a note. I only realised this when I wanted to bookmark a note.

 If your goal is to whack out a few notes quickly or even write a quick story, these Beaver notes will work just fine. If you are a bit more arty-farty, and things have to be “just so”, you will be disappointed. This would make a nice replacement for the official apple notes, which always rub me up the wrong way, for some reason.

+Le bouton de basculement entre le thème clair et le thème sombre qui est très visible est quelque chose que toutes les applications devraient adopter très rapidement ! Quand vos yeux sont bombardés de phosphore la nuit pour aucune raison, c’est criminel.
+Quant aux paramètres d’un « mot de passe » - je n’arrive pas à voir si les notes sont cryptées ou pas, car je n'arrivais pas à les trouver. Je soupçonne qu’il s’agit tout simplement d’un mot de passe pour navigateur. L’autre chose que vous pouvez ne pas remarquer est que le bouton archive est invisible, à moins de passer le curseur de votre souris sur une note. Je n’ai réalisé cela que quand j'ai voulu mettre une note en signet.
+Si votre but est d’écrire quelque notes très rapidement ou même d’écrire une courte histoire, ces notes Beaver fonctionneront parfaitement. Si vous êtes un peu plus perfectionniste et si les chose doivent être exactement comme vous voulez, vous serez déçu. Cette appli pourrait remplacer les notes officielles d’Apple, qui me font toujours grincer des dents pour une raison qui m’échappe.

+Si vous cherchez une application de prise de notes qui est plus que Leafpad, mais moins que Cherrytree, vous pouvez essayer celle-ci. Toutefois, il faut impérativement la bloquer dans votre pare-feu car bleepingcomputer indique que l’URL pourrait être mauvaise.
