 As I translate a lot, for FCM news, I find that Vivaldi has the easiest means of translating only a piece of text, right from the right-hand bar, as sometimes you do not want the whole page translated, as the name of something like tails, for instance, can get weird. My only ‘nice to have’ here, that I have in other browsers, is the ability to download a few languages for offline translation. Another feature I enjoy is the option to open pop-ups in their own tabs, that way you don’t end up with one in the background that you have no knowledge of.

Nous avons testé les raccourcis clavier par défaut CTRL++, CTRL+- et CRTL+0, et ils fonctionnaient toujours dès la mise en route. C'est peut-être le moment idéal pour évoquer les excellents raccourcis clavier de Vivaldi. La touche Retour arrière est activée par défaut ! Bien qu'elle soit également activée par défaut dans FF, elle ne l'était pas pendant un certain temps. L'écran de confidentialité, lorsque vous en avez besoin ou que vous devez faire une pause, est toujours activé par CTRL+, ce qui vide non seulement votre fenêtre de visualisation, mais aussi vos onglets. Personnellement, il y a toujours un bug : si vous lisez une vidéo et que vous cliquez sur l'icône de reprise, l'onglet reste muet et je dois chercher la petite icône de sourdine.

+Comme je traduis beaucoup, notamment pour les actualités du FCM, je trouve que Vivaldi est le moyen le plus simple de traduire un extrait de texte, directement depuis la barre de droite. Parfois, on ne souhaite pas traduire toute la page, car la traduction d'un élément, comme « tails », par exemple, peut paraître étrange. Mon seul petit « manque » ici, que j'ai dans d'autres navigateurs, est la possibilité de télécharger plusieurs langues pour une traduction hors ligne. J'apprécie également la possibilité d'ouvrir des fenêtres contextuelles dans leurs propres onglets, ce qui évite d'en avoir une en arrière-plan dont on ignore l'existence.

There is nothing so depressing as browsing four tabs just to empty your temporary internet junk and find that it is a few hundred megabytes from pre-caching lots of pictures.

+J'aime personnaliser, et je sais que beaucoup d'entre vous n'aiment pas ça. Alors, je personnalise Vivaldi à fond et je fouille partout, ce qui est un autre avantage pour moi. Ma barre latérale gauche est beaucoup plus vide. À ce propos, je me suis plongé dans les réseaux sociaux de Vivaldi, et même si je n'ai pas le temps pour ce genre de choses, je les apprécie. J'y ai trouvé des solutions à mes problèmes, mais l'application intègre aussi des trucs du genre « Tik Tok ». Si vous avez des problèmes, je vous conseille de les supprimer. Si vous êtes accro au défilement rapide, vous pouvez aussi les supprimer.

Il n'y a rien de plus déprimant que de parcourir quatre onglets juste pour vider vos fichiers indésirables Internet temporaires et découvrir qu'il s'agit de quelques centaines de mégaoctets provenant de la mise en cache anticipée de nombreuses images.
