+J'ai téléchargé Ubuntu 25.10 depuis la source officielle via BitTorrent avec Transmission. Une fois le fichier téléchargé, j'ai vérifié son intégrité (somme de contrôle SHA256), ce qui était le cas.
+Cette version est plus légère que la précédente : elle est passée de 6,28 Go pour Ubuntu 25.04 à 5,8 Go, soit une réduction de 580 Mo (9 %). C'était une petite surprise, mais des téléchargements plus légers sont toujours appréciables !

 One thing you do notice in Ubuntu over time is that more and more it is using the Rust programming language and, while that may sound like the “programming flavor-of-the-day”, it actually provides many advantages especially in the area of memory safety. +Une chose que l'on remarque avec Ubuntu au fil du temps, c'est l'utilisation croissante du langage de programmation Rust. Bien que cela puisse paraître comme une mode passagère, Rust offre en réalité de nombreux avantages, notamment en matière de sécurité de la mémoire. Au moins pour les prochaines années, une grande partie de l'avenir de Linux sera imprégnée de Rust, ce qui est probablement un atout pour les utilisateurs.
+Hormis ce problème avec Flatpak, rapidement résolu, Ubuntu 25.10 est une version réussie.
+La prochaine version sera la version à support à long terme (LTS) qui clôturera ce cycle de développement : Ubuntu 26.04 LTS, prévue pour le 23 avril 2026.
