 Canonical has announced the end of the ShipIt program. As Gerry Carr explained on the Canonical blog:

+Il est de retour... et meilleur que jamais. Le nouveau Commodore 64 est un PC moderne et fonctionnel dont le design est aussi près de l'original qu'humainement possible. À l'intérieur, il y a une carte mère moderne mini-ITX PC avec un processeur Dual Core Atom 525 et le plus récent jeu de composants graphiques nVidia ION2. Son coloris est celui de l'original, marron taupe/beige, et d'autres couleurs suivront.
+L'OS Commodore 1.0, avec la fonction émulation et un paquet de jeux classiques, sera envoyé aux acheteurs dès que possible. En attendant, les machines sont vendues avec un CD du système d'exploitation Ubuntu 10.04 LTS prêt à être installé.

 The 'live version' comes in both OpenSUSE and Fedora versions. No Ubuntu download though as Ubuntu, from 11.04, will come with its own Unity interface.

+GNOME 3 est sorti le 6 avril 2011. Si vous voulez l'essayez, vous pouvez exécuter une version live à partir d'un CD/DVD ou d'une clé USB.
+La « version live » est fournie pour OpenSUSE et Fedora. Il n'y aura pas de téléchargement disponible pour Ubuntu, cependant, puisque, à partir de la 11.04, Ubuntu sera livré avec sa propre interface, Unity.
