My answer: You need Ubuntu. Or something along that line anyway. I even went as far as selling my "proprietary" media player, and buying one that works with Linux. I will never go back to the "Dark Side", I will always try to find a way around my computer issues...in Ubuntu.

+J’utilise Ubuntu depuis l’année dernière. Je n’ai absolument rien de mal à dire dessus. En fait, je fait de mon mieux pour le « vendre » à toutes les personnes que je rencontre. Les gens au travail savent que j’aime jouer avec les ordinateurs et donc ils me posent toutes sortes de questions. Comment accélérer mon ordinateur ? Quel antivirus me suggérez-vous ? Pourquoi ceci arrive toujours ? Ma réponse : Vous avez besoin d’Ubuntu. Ou quelque chose de ce genre. Je suis même allé jusqu'à vendre mon lecteur de média  « propriétaire » et en ai acheté un qui fonctionne sous Linux. Je ne retournerai jamais du « coté obscur » et j’essayerai toujours de trouver une réponse à mes problèmes d’ordinateur… sous Ubuntu.

+J’étais pendant longtemps et jusqu’à récemment un fan d’Ubuntu. Non, ceci n’est pas un mail de quelqu’un qui déteste Unity, puisque j’y suis indifférent. Ce qui m'agace profondément est la mise en veille prolongée. Les dernières versions craignent ! Chaque fois que je rabats mon capot, le PC ne se rallume jamais. Il faut un arrêt à la barbare pour le récupérer.

+J'aimerais partager certains de mes griefs, à propos de Linux en général, avec vous.
+Je me sers de Linux depuis plus de 5 ans maintenant, j’aime partager mes connaissances Linux et convaincre de nouvelles personnes, mais ça devient de plus en plus dur. La communauté Linux concentre tous ses efforts dans le développement de nouvelles interfaces utilisateur, se disputant à leur propos, alors que ce dont nous avons besoin, c'est la prise en charge de choses que les gens veulent vraiment, comme par exemple : le support vidéo pour MSN et Yahoo ou la gestion native des iPods. Il semble que tout le monde ait un iPod, qui n’est pourtant pas correctement pris en charge par Linux.

+Art Schreckengost a fourni une belle évaluation de Bodhi Linux, mais il y a une omission majeure. Il a déclaré qu'il ne connaissait qu'une seule autre distribution utilisant E17 et Ubuntu. Il a raté la plus belle distrib. qui existe, selon moi, MacPup 528. MacPup utilise E17 et est basé sur Lupu (Puppy Lucid, basée sur Ubuntu Lucid Lynx).
+J'ai essayé Bodhi et suis d'accord au sujet de la courbe d'apprentissage et que c'est une raison pour baisser la note de Bodhi d'un cran. Il n'y a pas une telle courbe d'apprentissage sur MacPup 528. J'espère qu'il l'essaiera.
