 The Hundred Papercuts project is vitally important to Ubuntu. As well as focusing on the minor/trivial bugs that developers typically triage down the back of the desk, it provides a point of entry for new contributors to learn the processes involved in Ubuntu development, get to grips with the tools and find their way around the code without getting in over their heads.

+Le projet 100 Papercuts est d'une importance vitale pour Ubuntu. Outre se concentrer sur les bogues mineurs/triviaux que, typiquement, les développeurs rangent dans un coin à l'arrière de leur bureau, il offre un point d'entrée pour que les nouveaux contributeurs puissent apprendre les processus du développement d'Ubuntu, se familiariser avec les outils et se retrouver dans le code sans se noyer.
+La volonté et l'enthousiasme initiaux qui habitaient le projet au départ, pendant le cycle Karmic, sont pratiquement tombés dans l'oubli, ce qui met cette valeur en péril. Grâce à l'aide des contributeurs restants, de l'équipe Ubuntu Desktop et de la grande communauté Ubuntu, ce plan dynamisera à nouveau ce qui devrait être le joyau de la couronne dans l'implication communautaire dans Ubuntu.

+**Voici le texte que nous avons publié en juin 2009 (n° 26, page 4) : Projet « Une centaine d'éraflures » (One Hundred Paper Cuts)
+   Canonical a lancé un projet portant le drôle de nom de « Une centaine d'éraflures ». Le but est d'identifier et de réparer 100 problèmes mineurs mais « casse-pieds » pour les utilisateurs.
+   La société a dit : « Une éraflure est une contrariété mineure que l'utilisateur moyen pourrait rencontrer le premier jour où il utilisera une nouvelle installation d'Ubuntu 9.10 ». La société ne cherche pas des problèmes spécifiques à certaines applications - elle veut des problèmes à l'échelle du système.
+   Le succès du projet dépendra des milliers de bénévoles qui contribuent au projet Ubuntu. C'est un bel objectif et qui devrait inciter encore plus de monde à choisir le meilleur OS libre basé sur Linux.**
