+Mon expérience (en utilisant la solution ci-dessus) était plutôt satisfaisante sur mon modeste portable sous Ubuntu 12.04 et AMD64. Malheureusement, parmi ceux que j’ai essayés, seulement deux des quatre jeux se sont correctement lancés. Alors que Braid et VVVVV ne parvenaient pas à trouver l’exécutable, Osmos et World of Goo avaient un rendu magnifique et fonctionnaient sans le moindre accroc.

+Les fonctions intégrées aux jeux, tels Maj-Tab pour accéder à la communauté Steam (et autres raccourcis) fonctionnent comme prévu. Visuellement parlant, il n’y a pas de surprises particulières : l’interface du client est conforme aux standards graphiques auxquels nous sommes habitués sous Mac et Windows. Bref, certains jeux nécessitent encore un peu de peaufinage pour fonctionner mais, globalement, la bêta de Steam est un aperçu très prometteur de ce que nous pouvons attendre de Valve en version finale.
