-We have a full suite of articles for you again this month. Python, LibreOffice, Inkscape, and Blender are all here and are joined by an excellent article on using the Lynis application to test the security of your PC. The article is written by the creator and programmer of Lynis, Michael Boelen. Make sure you give it a whirl to see if your PC is up to snuff.

+As you can see from the cover, we've got an interesting piece on cryptocurrency (which is open source) this month, and for the next couple of months. In part one you'll learn what Bitcoin is and how it works. I'm also tossing in some cryptocurrency as a prize. Answer the simple question at the end of the article, and you could win 500 DOGE (Dogecoins). It's the third most used digital currency and is based on the highly popular Internet shibe meme. Much competition! Such a win! In future issues, Oscar (from Ubuntu Games) will discuss XPR (Ripple) and I'll tell you how to compile the Dogecoin wallet.

Since they were pretty cheap I bought an extra copy/two which I'll give away at the end of my reviews. So, keep an eye out for my future game review giveaways.

+En parlant de compétitions, alors qu'il était en vente pour 1 £ sur Steam, j'ai acheté Proteus avec deux exemplaires supplémentaires. Vous pouvez lire ma critique et participer au concours dans la section Jeux Ubuntu. Assurez-vous simplement d'avoir un compte Steam avant de commencer.
