+Imaginons que je supprime par accident la capture d'écran prise sur le portable. L'interface Web affiche maintenant un seul fichier. Je pourrais sans doute retrouver le fichier dans la corbeille, mais //quid// si je suis en train d'utiliser le portable ? Eh bien, si vous affichez les fichiers cachés et allez au dossier sync, vous verrez qu'il y a un dossier .SyncArchive. Ce dossier-là contient le fichier que j'ai supprimé, mais il n'est stocké que sur la machine sur laquelle il fut créé. Ainsi, alors que c'est totalement invisible sur ma machine de bureau, le fichier supprimé se trouve dans le dossier .SyncArchive sur mon portable.

+Faites surtout attention de ne pas copier dans le dossier sync de gros fichiers qui seront alors téléchargés vers votre dispositif mobile.
+Vous pouvez aussi choisir des dossiers (sur votre dispositif) à être sauvegardés, ce qui est utile pour, notamment, les dossiers de photos.
+Avec un gestionnaire de fichiers (sur le dispositif), vous pouvez mettre des fichiers dans votre dossier sync et ceux-ci apparaîtront, comme de bien entendu, sur vos autres machines (bureau/portable). Je me suis servi de cette idée-là pour transférer les captures d'écran de mon téléphone vers mon ordinateur de bureau (sans utiliser le WiFi, en tant que test) et cela m'a permis d'insérer les écrans dans cet article avec une grande facilité.

La façon de faire varie selon l'environnement de bureau, mais dans Mint, vous allez dans Système > Programmes au démarrage, cliquez sur « Ajouter » et fournissez un nom et la commande qui la lancera (en utilisant le bouton Parcourir).

 The only downside that I can see with BitTorrent Sync is that there’s no server (like Drive or Dropbox) that holds your files should your desktop/laptop have an accident. Having said that, I think the whole idea behind BitTorrent Sync is that you don’t rely on a company to hold your files as they may be up to no good with your stuff.

+Le seul inconvénient que je vois dans BitTorrent Sync est qu'il n'y a pas de serveur (comme sur Drive ou Dropbox) qui contient vos fichiers au cas où un accident surviendrait à votre ordinateur de bureau/portable. Cela étant dit, je pense que toute l'idée à la base de BitTorrent Sync est que vous ne dépendez pas d'une société pour garder vos fichiers, car elle pourrait les utiliser pour vous faire du mal.
+C'est une idée géniale de vous permettre de synchroniser vers des dispositifs mobiles et c'est très utile pour transférer rapidement des fichiers du dispositif vers l'ordinateur de bureau. D'habitude, je me sers d'AirDroid pour transférer des fichiers vers le bureau, mais il se peut que BitTorrent Sync rende les choses bien plus rapides et beaucoup plus faciles.
