Here's my desktop. I use Linux Mint 18.1 Cinnamon. The wallpaper is a photo of a Thai beach taken while on holiday. (I actually play the background wallpapers as a slideshow changing every 10mins but that is what is on now) I use Conky manager with Gotham for the time and also the Network and current processes I also have the Accuweather widget with my home town: Penela in Portugal. Fairly standard (except I much prefer the menu on the top bar) but it works for me. Richard Cain
Voici mon bureau. J'utilise linux Mint 18.1 Cionnamon. Le fond d'écran est la photo d'une plage thaïe prise pendant mes vacances. (En fait, je lis les fonds d'écran comme un diorama où la photo change toutes les 10 minutes, mais c'est ce qui s'affiche actuellement).
Pour le moment, j'utilise le genstionnaire Conky avec Gotham et aussi les processus en cours et le réseau.
J'ai également le widget d'Accuweather avec ma ville natale : Penela au Portugal.
C'est assez standard (sauf que je préfère, et de loin, le menu sur la barre du haut) mais il me plaît.

Here is my current favorite desktops of six monitors we use. The system is KDE 16.04 KDE Plasma Version 5.8.5 The background was downloaded from KDE Download Wallpapers, but I do not have a reference name. The desktop widgets are stock Plasma widgets from KDE with the exception of the Weather Widget on the right side of the panel. It was added using the “Get more Widget” in the Widget options. Clicking on it will show current and 5 day graph and forecast for every 6 hr. period of each day and can be set to show multiple locations. The titles of each widget are obvious with the exception of the Yellow “Desktop Sticky Note” which when clicked displays the contents of the note. Plasma 5 widgets are still being refined. They are clunky compared to previous Plasma desktops but having used them for a few months, I have grown to like them. Mac

Les widgets du bureau sont les widgets Plasma standard de KDE, à l'exception du widget météo sur le côté droit du panneau. Je l'ai ajouté avec « Get more Widgets » (obtenir d'autres widgets) dans les options Widget; Si onclic sur le widget météo, il affichera un graphe et des prévisions actuels et sur 5 jours pour chaque période de 6 heures chaque jour et peut être réglé pour afficher de multiples endroits.

I am running Debian 8.7 LXDE on this machine. I also have Lubuntu on a laptop.
