Bluetooth Woes Back in the day (prior to Ubuntu 14.04 I think), I never had a problem connecting a Bluetooth device to my laptop. Since then, no luck at all. I am a dedicated Xubuntu user and I really would like Bluetooth to work. Downloaded the 15.10 beta, tried it hoping this problem had been fixed. No dice. The devices pair OK but they cannot connect. Why, with an organization seemingly as adept as Canonical, has there been no progress on the Bluetooth front. Temporary or permanent fixes abound but that begs the question rather than answering it. I've tried numerous fixes gleaned from multiple blogs and forums – with no luck. Can you shed any light on this issue? Dick Smith
Difficultés avec Bluetooth
Autrefois (avant Ubuntu 14.04, je pense), je n'avais jamais de problèmes pour connecter un périphérique Bluetooth à mon portable. Depuis, je n'y arrive pas du tout. Utilisateur dévoué de Xubuntu, j'aimerais vraiment que Bluetooth fonctionne.
J'ai téléchargé la bêta de la 15.10 et je l'ai essayée, en espérant que le problème avait été corrigé. Peine perdue. Les appareils se retrouvent et l'appairage se fait, mais ils n'arrivent pas à se connecter l'un à l'autre.
Pourquoi, avec une organisation qui semble aussi experte que Canonical, n'y a-t-il pas eu de progrès côté Bluetooth ?
Il y a beaucoup de correctifs temporaires ou permanent, mais on fait l'impasse sur le problème de fond au lieu d'y faire front.
J'ai essayé de nombreux correctifs glanés sur de multiples blogs et forums, sans résultat. Pouvez-vous m'éclairer à ce sujet ?

EPUB#101 101 A couple of people noticed two minor problems with the FCM#101 EPUB: • The meta data shows it as issue 191 not 101 • The cover image is not marked as 'cover' and so does not show when imported into Google books Brian says: Point 1) Guilty as charged. In mitigation, I can only say that I entered the Metadata by candle light on my laptop and the 9 and 0 are adjacent to each other. Point 2) piqued my interest. A download from the FCM site looked like this.
Epub N° 101 pour débutants
Plusieurs personnes ont remarqué deux problèmes mineurs dans l'epub du FCM n° 101 : • Les méta-données attestent que c'est le numéro 191, pas le 101 • L'image de la couverture n'est pas identifiée comme « couverture » et ne s'affiche donc pas lors de l'importation dans Google Books.

Comme circonstances atténuantes, je ne peux que dire que j'ai rentré les méta-données à la lumière d'une bougie sur mon portable et le 9 et le 0 sont à côté l'un de l'autre.
2) Celle-ci m'a intrigué. Un téléchargement du site FCM ressemblait à ceci.

Puisque je ne connais rien au sujet de Google Books, j'ai décidé de l'ouvrir. Bien entendu, l'appli ne contient pas d'information sur comment charger un epub. L'appareil que j'utilisais a décidé alors de se suicider en sautant sur un sol en béton.
Une recherche m'a donné ceci : « Depuis mars 2013, Google Play Books prend en charge des fichiers epub ou PDF de tiers. Vous pouvez téléverser des livres vers votre compte en allant sur https://play.google.com/books/uploads dans votre navigateur Web (tout en étant connecté à votre compte Google, bien sûr). Vous pouvez stocker jusqu'à 1 000 fichiers à la fois et la taille de chaque fichier ne peut pas excéder 50 Mo. »
So the downloaded file is now uploaded to Google Play Books where it appears to undergo some file manipulation. I can only surmise that the file became corrupted for you during either a download or upload, or its manipulation by Google. I did notice that there was one additional problem introduced by uploading the file to Google Play – whether or not it is the same under Android as in the browser I can't check right now. Google removes the blank line between paragraphs. As paragraphs in the ePub are justified, it’s difficult to see when one ends and the next begins. If you have Calibre installed on your computer, then it is easy to edit the Metadata after importing the ePub.
Bon. Le fichier téléchargé est maintenant téléversé sur Google Play Books où il semble subir un peu de manipulation.
Je ne peux que supposer que le fichier a été corrompu pendant soit un téléchargement, soit un téléversement, soit pendant sa manipulation par Google.
J'ai en effet remarqué qu'un problème supplémentaire a été introduit lors du téléversement du fichier sur Google Play ; je ne peux pas vérifier actuellement si c'est la même chose sous Android que dans le navigateur.
Google enlève l'interligne vierge entre les paragraphes. Puisque les paragraphes dans l'epub sont justifiés, il est difficile de voir où l'un se termine et le suivant commence.
Si Calibre est installé sur votre ordinateur, l'édition des méta-données après l'importation de l'epub est facile.
Right-clicking on the ePub gives you the option to edit the book and indent the paragraphs if you need to. In the left column, under Styles, double-click on FCM15.css and look for p { font-family: Ubuntu; font-weight: normal; text-align: justify; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 14pt; } and add text-indent: 30pt; to make it read p { text-indent: 30pt; font-family: Ubuntu; font-weight: normal; text-align: justify; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 14pt; } Save and exit. The modified ePub can now be found in the Calibre Library.
