 For this issue, we have the usual suspects; Python, Latex, Inkscape, LMMS, MTMT (Micro This Micro That), and an interesting piece on getting to grips with that pesky GRUB menu. You know, that boring black screen with the white box that lets you pick which OS to boot from. Well, you can make it look all fancy. True story. Even if you only see it for about ten seconds every six months.

One expert says we're in a third wave (here in the UK) while another says we're past the worst of it. By the time you've read this I'll have had both my jags (as we call them here in Scotland) and feel safer. I'm not as young as I used to be! Which is probably a good thing...

+Dans ce numéro, nous avons les tutoriels habituels (Python, LaTeX, Inkscape, LMMS, MCML (Micro-ci Micro-là) et un article intéressant sur comment attaquer de front le menu agaçant de GRUB. Vous le connaissez, cet écran noir ennuyeux avec la boîte blanche qui vous permet de choisir quel OS démarrer. Il parait que vous pouvez en rendre l'apparence très sophistiquée. Une histoire vraie. Même si vous ne le voyez que pendant environ dix secondes tous les six mois.

+Dans la vraie vie : j'espère que vous tous restez en sécurité et en bonne santé. J'espère que nous atteignons la fin du bruit, parfois illogique, fait autour de la pandémie. Un expert dit que nous traversons une troisième vague (ici au Royaume-Uni) alors qu'un autre dit que le pire est derrière nous. Au moment où vous lirez ceci, j'aurai eu mes deux doses (« jags » ou piqûres, comme on les appelle ici en Écosse) et je me sentirai plus en sécurité. Je ne suis pas aussi jeune que je l'ai été ! Ce qui est, sans doute, une bonne chose...
