Le PinePhone et le PineTab Pine64 sont mis à jour indépendamment du reste des appareils. Le canal stable pour le PinePhone et le PineTab ne recevra pas de mise à jour étiquetée « OTA-20 ».
What's new? This release of Ubuntu Touch is still based on Ubuntu 16.04. We implemented notification LED support for devices with Halium 9 base. If your device is still not blinking, keep in mind that many recent devices do not have a notification LED anymore: Vollaphone and Pixel 3a cannot blink physically for example. Also vibration works now for incoming notifications on those devices. We added support for Khmer and Bengali fonts to support users from these locales a bit better. It is now possible to define a custom notification sound. Like with ringtones one can now select any accessible audio file to be played when a new notification arrives. Let's annoy our co-workers with style! A few new devices were added to the range of installable devices again: Xiaomi Redmi 9 and 9 Prime (lancelot), Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 (merlin), Note 9 Pro (joyuese), Note 9 Pro Max (excalibur), Note 9S (curtana), Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro (gram) and Pixel 2 (walleye). The Pixel 2 has some battery lifetime issues though, so it might not be fully ready for your daily drive.

Cette version d'Ubuntu Touch est toujours basée sur Ubuntu 16.04.
Nous avons mis en œuvre le support d'une notification par LED pour les dispositifs basés sur Halium 9. Si votre dispositif ne clignote toujours pas, gardez à l'esprit que beaucoup d'appareils récents n'ont plus de notification par LED : Vollaphone et Pixel 3a sont physiquement incapables de clignoter. De plus, la vibration fonctionne maintenant pour des notifications entrantes sur ces dispositifs-là.
On a rajouté le support pour les polices Khmer et Bengali pour mieux prendre en charge des utilisateurs venant de ces emplacements géographiques.
Il est maintenant possible de définir un son de notification personnalisé. Comme pour les mélodies de sonnerie, on peut maintenant choisir n'importe quel fichier audio accessible pour le jouer lors de l'arrivée d'une nouvelle notification. Nous allons agacer nos collègues de bureau avec pas mal de classe !

Le Pixel 2 a cependant des problèmes concernant la durée de vie de la batterie ; aussi, il n'est peut-être pas tout à fait prêt pour un usage quotidien.
Bugs and issues fixed
A regression bug prevented the so-called trust prompts to appear when an App requested certain hardware access for the first time: Microphone, location, camera access should now pop the usual dialogs. Note that the camera-app itself currently has always access to the camera, as this trust prompt needs fixes in the Halium/Android layer, and that has been postponed for the moment.
A bug in our CalDAV layer prevented sync with servers that used a Let´s Encrypt certificate due to their recent cert revocation in their cert chain. That's now fixed.
A rare and weird telephony bug: Users of the Vollaphone could not reject a second incoming call without terminating the current one also. Thanks to HalloWelt Systeme for fixing that for us!
Les bugs et les problèmes corrigés
Un bug de régression empêchait l'affichage des soi-disant invites de confiance quand une appli demandait l'accès à un certain matériel pour la première fois : le microphone, la localisation, l'accès à la caméra devraient maintenant afficher les dialogues habituels. Notez que l'appli caméra elle-même a toujours accès à la caméra actuellement, car cette invite de confiance doit être corrigée dans la couche Halium/Android et cela est reporté pour l'instant.
Un bug dans la couche CalDAV empêchait la synchronisation avec des serveurs utilisant un certificat Let's Encrypt à cause de la révocation récente du certificat dans leur chaîne de certification. C'est maintenant corrigé.
Un bizarre et rare bug de téléphonie : les utilisateurs du Vollaphone ne pouvaient pas rejeter un deuxième appel entrant sans terminer l'appel actuel aussi. Merci à HalloWelt Systeme d'avoir corrigé cela pour nous !
