What's new? This release of Ubuntu Touch is still based on Ubuntu 16.04. For the Volla Phone X we are switching to a Halium 10 system image. This enables the fingerprint reader and fixes a few other problems. Volla Phone X is younger than Volla Phone and therefore was recommended to run with a later Android base. We originally released it with Halium 9, and now the in-place upgrade keeps us very excited: The updater has to flash a few critical system partitions. While it was tested extensively random errors could happen, resulting in a soft-bricked device. In such a case please contact HalloWeltSysteme via their support. Support for camera in Morph browser. Now video calls finally work! This is probably the most important feature of this OTA. Many people have begged us to make video calling an option. Now this is still only in the browser, but we think it already can be a great relief. And it is the door-opener to video calling in Apps. (fredldotme)

Cette version d’Ubuntu Touch est toujours basée sur Ubuntu 16.04.
Pour le Volla Phone X, nous basculons vers une image système Halium 10. Cela active le lecteur d’empreinte digitale et corrige quelques autres problèmes. Le Volla Phone X est plus récent que le Volla Phone et devait donc exécuter une base Android plus récente. À l’origine, nous l’avons sorti avec Halium 9 et maintenant la mise à niveau in-situ nous rend très excités : le logiciel de mise à jour doit flasher quelques partitions système critiques. Malgré des tests exhaustifs, des erreurs aléatoires pourraient survenir, ce qui aurait comme résultat un dispositif qui ne fonctionne plus. Dans un tel cas, veuillez contacter HalloWeltSysteme via leur support.
Prise en charge de la caméra dans le navigateur Morph. Les appels vidéo fonctionnent enfin ! Cela est probablement la plus importante caractéristique de cette OTA. De très nombreuses personnes nous ont supplié de rendre des appels vidéo optionnels. Pour l'instant, l’option reste uniquement dans le navigateur, mais nous pensons qu’elle peut déjà être d'un énorme soulagement. ET ça ouvre la porte aux appels vidéo dans les Applis. (fredldotme)
For some devices with FM radio mardytardi is trying to land an FM radio daemon plus App in the store to allow real analogue radio listening. While this is not fully there yet, the daemon is already in the image, the rest will come with the next OTA(s). Lets wish him luck! QQC2 Apps will now follow the system theme, if this is set to dark those Apps will also show dark theme. (dobey) The greeter (lock screen) has got some improvements over the already rolled out rotation update from last OTA. And it even rotates! Also the emergency bar at the bottom is now layed out nicely. (capsia) For the Pixel 3a / 3a XL: a lot of improvements to sound quality and volume control. Also this device has now a “booster mode” enabled which will limit the number of CPUs and will configure other savings when the screen is turned off. Pour certains dispositifs avec radio FM, mardytardi essaie de mettre un démon radio FM en plus de l'Appli dans le magasin pour permettre une vraie écoute analogique de la radio. Il est vrai que ce n’est pas encore terminé, mais le démon a déjà sa place dans l’image et le reste viendra avec le(s) prochaine(s) OTA. Souhaitons lui bonne chance !
Les Applis QQC2 suivront maintenant le thème du système : si cela est réglé sur sombre, ces Applis afficheront aussi le thème sombre. (dobey)
L’écran de verrouillage a déjà reçu d’autres améliorations de sa rotation depuis la dernière mise à jour (OTA). Et il tourne ! De plus, maintenant la disposition de la barre d’urgence en bas est très bien. (capsia)
Pour le Pixel 3a/3a XL : beaucoup d’améliorations de la qualité du son et du contrôle du volume. Sur ce dispositif, un « mode booster » est maintenant activé qui limitera le nombre de CPU et configurera d’autres économies quand l’écran est éteint. (fredldotme)
Pour le OnePlus 5/5T : le portage est maintenant vraiment achevé et c’est une autre bonne option à prendre si vous avez besoin d’un téléphone qui « fonctionne tout simplement ». (Flohack74)

Autocomplétion dans l’appli numéroteur : au fur et à mesure que vous tapez un numéro, les contacts qui s’accordent avec le numéro que vous tapez s’afficheront. Appuyez sur le bon contact pour raccourcir le processus de numérotation. (lduboef)
Known Issues Some older devices (Legacy or Halium 5.1 ports) with 32bit (armhf) images seem to struggle with WebRTC and/or WebGL quite a bit. WebGL is turned off (blacklisted) for: BQ E4.5 and E5 Meizu MX4 Nexus 4 Nexus 7 2013 Those were blacklisted since they cause Morph browser to crash. If WebGL or WebRTC simply wont work on your older device and its not listed here, please drop us a message in the forum! Pixel 2 and 2 XL: while the devices are improving currently the power consumption is really high. This is due to sleep deprivation when WiFi is enabled and the device is connected to an AP. Its not optimal, but with not using WiFi that much the power consumption can be managed.
Problèmes connus
Certains dispositifs assez vieux (portages Legacy ou Halium 5.1) avec des images 32-bit (armhf) semblent avoir beaucoup de mal avec WebRTC et/ou WebGL. WebGL est désactivé (mis sur la liste noire) pour :

Ceux-là étaient mis sur la liste noire puisqu’ils font planter le navigateur Morph.
Si WebGL ou WebRTC ne veulent tout simplement pas fonctionner sur votre vieux dispositif et que celui-ci n’est pas dans la liste ci-dessus, envoyez-nous un message sur le forum !
Pixel 2 et 2XL : alors que ces dispositifs s’améliorent actuellement, la consommation de la batterie est vraiment haute. Cela est dû au manque de repos quand le WiFi est activé et que le dispositif est connecté à un point d’accès. Ce n’est pas optimal, mais si vous n’utilisez pas trop le WiFi la consommation peut-être gérée.
Bugs and issues fixed • Shader cache for QML is now working correctly and will hopefully speed up a few milliseconds when Apps need a shader :) • Messaging App does no longer crop MMS images. • OnePlus 5T has now a working fingerprint reader. (Flohack74) • On devices that already got a required kernel patch camera permissions are enforced again. We will encourage all porters to fix that for their devices, unfortunately it cannot be done centrally. So that might still take one OTA or 2 to land everywhere (fredldotme) • If you are trying out ringtones or notification sounds and close system settings the playback will be stopped now properly (lduboef) • Some devices, again also the OnePlus 5, had an issue where the device would not return to sleep if a push notification arrived, but stayed on for the extended screen timeout. Bogues et problèmes corrigés
••Le cache Shader pour QML fonctionne bien maintenant et nous espérons qu’il s’accélérera de quelques millisecondes quand Apps aura besoin d’un shader :)
••L’appli SMS/MMS ne coupe plus les images MMS.
••le OnePlus 5T a maintenant un lecteur d’empreinte digitale qui fonctionne. (Flohack74)
••Sur les dispositifs qui ont déjà obtenu un correctif nécessaire du noyau, les permissions pour la caméra sont à nouveau imposées. Nous encouragerons tous les porteurs à corriger cela pour leurs dispositifs, car, malheureusement, cela ne peut pas se faire de façon centrale. Ainsi, cela pourrait nécessiter un ou deux OTA pour arriver partout. (fredldotme)
••Si vous essayez des sonneries ou des sons de notifications et fermez les paramètres système, la lecture s’arrêtera comme il faut. (lduboef)
••Certains dispositifs, à nouveau également le OnePlus 5, avaient un problème où le dispositif ne se remettait pas en veille si une notification push arrivait, mais restait allumé pendant l’arrêt prolongé de l’écran. Cela devrait être corrigé maintenant. (Flohack74).
