Congratulations to you and the team on reaching such an amazing milestone. Two hundred issues of an all volunteer publication is an awesome achievement and one that should be a source of great pride for all those currently involved, as well as all the contributors of years gone by. I salute you all!

In your Editorial of issue 199 you asked for input on how readers came to find the magazine. I do not remember exactly how I came across Full Circle, but I do know it was in the second half of 2015 because the first issue I downloaded was number 100. It was not long before FCM 100 that I had finally got a linux running to the standard I wanted in a daily driver, with the first release of Ubuntu MATE. All the other distros I had tried until then had issues of one kind or another for me that I could not get past, but with the MATE edition I had a distro that 'just worked'. I remember becoming aware of Ubuntu MATE from listening to the sadly now defunct Ubuntu Podcast, so it's quite likely I heard about FCM there as well. I am glad I did.

Ubuntu MATE stayed as my daily drive until 16.10 - that edition broke 'name resolution' on my network, and it took me a very long time to identify the cause. In the meantime I needed a linux installation that worked for me, and the openSUSE folk had released the first version of their Leap distro. That served as my everyday linux for many years, through about 5 version upgrades until a recent hard disk failure. I thought I would try a rolling release and installed openSUSE Tumbleweed. As much as I liked TW it just got too many updates. Debian 12 was released around then and now I happily use that with a KDE desktop. Along the way I looked at many, many distros, but didn't encounter one that gave sufficient reason to move on from what I was using at the time.

Ever since my original FCM issue 100 I look forward to each monthly edition of the magazine. While not every article/series is exactly to my taste I very much appreciate the time and effort all of your contributors put into their articles, and of course the work done at FCM central to compile and publish, on time, every month. I particularly enjoy the comprehensive news round-up and the Q&A section, and I like that you review some non-Ubuntu distributions.

Again, my congratulations on your amazing achievement of 200 issues, and my sincere thanks to all who mesh together to produce FCM. I look forward to another 200 issues.

Kudos to Paul Romano for shouldering the Herculean task of indexing nearly 4,000 (and counting) Full Circle articles. This is a really valuable resource for all we Full Circle readers. Thanks Paul!
