Salut ! Je suis indonésien et voici mon bureau. J'utilise Ubuntu 12.04 LTS avec l'environnement de bureau Cinnamon. À droite, j'ai mis un autocollant Linux et des Post-it.

En fait, j'en avais tout simplement assez de l'apparence et des sensations par défaut de mon bureau et j'ai donc décidé de le personnaliser de telle façon qu'il me fasse plaisir et que j'aie l'impression que le système d'exploitation soit mien. C'est l'une des raisons pour lesquelles j'aime utiliser Linux Mint. Je le trouve facile à utiliser et, pourtant, il me fournit la flexibilité et la puissance dont j'ai besoin pour le transformer complètement en quelque chose qui m'appartient véritablement.

I'm an Ubuntu user from Hungary. This is my desktop. You can see a conky in the right side, and an AWN dock in the left side. I found this background on the Internet. The system theme is default but I use compiz, and the window decorator is emerald. I like this layout and have used it a long time. Je suis un utilisateur d'Ubuntu qui vient de Hongrie. Voici mon bureau. Un conky est visible côté droit et un dock AWN, côté gauche. J'ai trouvé ce fond d'écran sur Internet. C'est le thème système par défaut, mais j'utilise compiz et le décorateur de fenêtres est emerald. J'aime bien cette présentation et je l'utilise depuis longtemps.

Système : Ubuntu 10.10 (Maverick Meerkat). Intel Pentium 2,8 GHz. 1,5 Go RAM, disque dur de 250 Go. Carte graphique ATI Radeon HD 4600.

I am running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 32-bit, but I use KDE 4.8.4, and I've customized it to get the best possible use that I can from it. The top center consists of a panel, the left top has the Lancelot Launcher Widget along with the Running Application Widget. In the top right is the Hard Disk temperature widget. Center left is the Hard Disk Size Status, with the Instant Messaging Widget. In the center right is Bubblemon Widget for CPU clock frequency, and behind it is an analog clock. There is also a Luna Widget with Notification Widget. In the bottom left is the Device notification Widget, and opposite to it is the Battery Notification Widget along with Show Widget Desktop Widget. At the bottom is my favorite dock Docky… These all work pretty well on my Lenovo G550 with Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU T4300 @ 2.10GHz- 2GB RAM, 250GB HDD, no graphics card. Priyesh Vishwakarma

Mon ordinateur est sous Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 32-bit, mais j'utilise KDE 4.8.4 et je l'ai personnalisé pour pouvoir l'utiliser au mieux.

Centré en haut se trouve un panneau, en haut à gauche il y a le widget Lancelot Launcher (lançeur Lancelot) ainsi que le widget Running Application (application en cours). En haut à droite se trouve le widget température du disque dur. Au centre, à gauche, se trouve le Hard Disk Size Status (l'état du disque dur) ainsi que le widget Messagerie instantanée. Au centre à droite est le widget Bubblemon pour la fréquence de l'horloge du processeur et, derrière cela, se trouve une horloge analogique. Il y a aussi un widget Luna avec un widget Notification. En bas, à gauche se trouve le widget Notification de dispositif et, en face, il y a le widget Notification de batterie avec le widget Show Widget Desktop (afficher le widget bureau). Tout en bas se trouve mon dock préféré, Docky…

Ils fonctionnent tous bien sur mon Lenovo G550 avec un processeur Pentium(R) Dual-Core T4300 @ 2.10GHz, 2 Go de RAM, un disque dur de 250 Go et pas de carte graphique.
