I use Ubuntu 12.04, with icons for Mac OS; I love this robot as wallpaper. A part of my personal theme also results from the application, MyUnity. I also installed screenlets (notice the small notepad on the top right, Weather forecast, and processor monitor). I have a Compaq Presario CQ57 PC, an AMD dual-core, 2 GB RAM, and a 250 GB HDD. J'utilise Ubuntu 12.04 avec des icônes type Mac OS. J'adore ce robot en fond d'écran. Une part de la personnalisation de mon interface est réalisée avec l'application MyUnity. J'ai également installé des Screenlets (à noter, le petit bloc notes en haut à droite, les prévisions météo et la surveillance du processeur). J'ai un Compaq Presario CQ57 PC, avec un AMD double coeur, 2 Go de RAM et un disque dur de 250 Go.

This is my desktop, running on an Intel D2700MUD mobo (with an Intel Atom D2700 onboard CPU @ 2.13 GHz clock). Because of lack of graphics driver support, it doesn't run Compiz, so I can use only metacity –composite to run this “Cairo-dock + Unity panel” session. It also didn’t play videos well, but, thanks to cedarview-graphics-drivers package, it plays videos smoothly now. I like using my native language for the system language. Voici mon bureau, tournant sur une carte Intel D2700MUD (intégrant un processeur Intel Atom D2700 à 2,13 GHz). Par manque de pilote graphique compatible, Compiz ne fonctionne pas. J'utilise donc uniquement une composition metacity pour exécuter cette session regroupant Cairo-dock et un tableau de bord Unity. Les vidéos ne fonctionnaient pas bien non plus, mais grâce aux pilotes graphiques cedarview, elles s'exécutent de manière fluide maintenant. Je préfère utiliser ma langue maternelle comme langue d'interface système. Le fond d'écran provient du projet Sabily, un projet dérivé d'Ubuntu.

Attached is a screenshot from my Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64-bit (Precise Pangolin) desktop (Unity) which I've upgraded to 12.04.1. I've dual-booted it with Windows-7, but I occasionally use it since I've gotten accustomed to Ubuntu. I use Conky lua for system monitoring and providing me with useful information… and I really like its cool look. I've installed The Nitrux UMD theme which has really cool icons. Ci-jointe, une capture d'écran de mon bureau (Unity) sous Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64-bit (Precise Pangolin) mis à jour sous 12.04.1. J'ai un double démarrage avec Windows 7, mais je ne l'utilise que rarement car je me suis habitué à Ubuntu.
