J’ai toujours ce téléphone aujourd’hui et je l’utilise encore.

J’ai conduit la voiture jusqu’à la maison tout en chargeant le téléphone via le sans-fil (je ne savais pas comment l’éteindre). Arrivé chez moi, j’ai récupéré le téléphone et il était mort. Cela m’a rendu perplexe, car le téléphone était très solide.

I downloaded the KDE Plasma Mobile, also downloaded Balena Etcher for the flashing process. My Windows 11 computer is set up according to Rob Braxman’s new computer setup, which means that I have two users, one a local account, which I use regularly, and the admin account which I hardly ever use. I don’t use any anti virus, except for Microsoft’s own. That was going to be the problem.

-One thing that worked was Jumpdrive. This was a utility that allowed the eemc to be directly exposed to the flashing process. I had an SD card which ran Jumpdrive and the phone worked with it. But it didn’t offer the computer an emmc drive to which the computer wanted to flash it. Eventually, I got the SD card to be flashed by a mobile OS, KDE Mobile to be precise. This worked  because the phone booted from it, but it was very slow. Then I discovered with the back off of the phone, that there was a reset button. I asked what it did and was told that it reset the hardware to factory settings. Oh wow! I immediately used the reset button and found that I could flash UB ports to the phone on eemc!

+Bon. La dernière fois que j’ai utilisé mon ordi Ubuntu, c’était difficile de mettre un système d’exploitation sur le PinePhone, parce qu'il était livré avec des partitions multiples. Je ne voulais pas subir tout cela à nouveau. J’ai donc utilisé Windows 11. J’ai téléchargé KDE Plasma Mobile et Balena Etcher aussi, pour le processus de flashage. Mon ordinateur Windows 11 est configuré selon la nouvelle configuration de Rob Braxman, ce qui signifie que j’ai deux utilisateurs, l’un, un compte local utilisé régulièrement, et l'autre, le compte admin que je n’utilise guère. Je n’utilise aucun anti-virus à part celui de Microsoft. Cela allait être problématique.

+Une chose qui fonctionnait était Jumpdrive, un utilitaire qui permettait à l’emmc d’être exposée directement au processus de flashage. J’avais une carte SD qui pouvait lancer Jumpdrive et le téléphone fonctionnait avec elle. Mais cela ne donnait pas à l’ordinateur un disque emmc vers lequel l’ordinateur voulait faire le flashage. J’ai enfin réussi à faire flasher la carte SD avec un système d’exploitation mobile, KDE mobile pour être précis. Cela a fonctionné, car le téléphone a démarré dessus, mais c’était très lent. Puis j’ai découvert que, derrière le couvercle sur le dos du phone, il y avait un bouton reset. J'ai demandé ce qu'il faisait et la réponse était qu'il réinitialisait le matériel aux réglages usine. Génial ! J’ai utilisé le bouton reset tout de suite et j’ai trouvé que je pouvais flasher UBports vers le téléphone sur le emmc !
+Je l’ai fait et maintenant tout va bien. Les caractéristiques du PinePhone sont excellentes et il me plaît beaucoup.
