+Quant à votre autre note, oui, vous avez raison : Ventoy ne donne pas son numéro de version, du moins pas facilement ! Je n’ai découvert que deux façons de trouver quelle version est installée. La première est tout simplement de garder le dossier de téléchargement actuel, qui comporte le numéro, ou d’exécuter l’interface graphique de mise à jour de Ventoy à partir de n’importe quel dossier de téléchargement de Ventoy ; il vous donnera le numéro de version. Ce serait un ajout sympa si, lors du démarrage, il annonçait le numéro de version !

 I thought I would do the Gparted solution anyway to see whether Ventoy has completely disappeared when the stick is read by Windows and by the television. BUT, when I looked at the stick with Gparted, both partitions were actually present: sdb1 ntfs with the flag boot, and sdb2 fat16 with the label VTOYEFI and the flag esp. When I tried to do Device > Create partition table, I got a long message, saying it was impossible to do so because some of the partitions were active (although neither was selected). I unmounted the USB stick that showed up as Unnamed, but that made no difference whatsoever. My conclusion is that the Ventoy partition is the active one. Ventoy seems to be sticking like glue.

+Il était toujours impossible de créer une nouvelle table de partitions dans Gparted. Mais j’ai ré-essayé une dernière fois avec badblocks et cela semblait fonctionner ! Tout ce qu’il fallait faire était non seulement le reformatage, pour supprimer toute particule de Ventoy dans la partition, mais aussi l’élimination de toute référence à Ventoy dans le nom de la partition.

+Waouh : ça, c’était un processus tortueux. J’espère que badblocks a finalement tout réglé et que tu pouvais la reformater par la suite ? Badblocks refuse de fonctionner si un processus s’exécute sur le disque et ce processus a dû être Ventoy lui-même.
