Bastion is a one-player, action role-playing video game developed by Supergiant Games and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Originally released for “Xbox Live Arcade” in July 2011, Bastion was later released for Windows in August 2011. Bastion was even released as a web app for Google Chrome in December 2011. Then, in May of 2012, Bastion was released for Linux and Mac OS X. You can carry up to three magic potions and three health bottles.  +**Un aspect de Bastion que j'aime vraiment est que vous pouvez jouer soit avec une configuration souris + clavier, soit avec une manette de jeu. Au départ, je jouais avec une souris et un clavier. Si vous utilisez une souris et un clavier, vous allez utiliser les mouvements ZQSD standards, la souris pour attaquer, et quelques autres touches pour des actions diverses comme avaler un médicament (une liqueur) ou une potion magique pour pouvoir exécuter des mouvements, ou des coups, particuliers. Lorsque Steam est devenu disponible pour Ubuntu en février 2013, j'ai réinstallé le jeu et j'ai recommencé à partir de zéro. J'ai aussi commencé à utiliser la manette de jeu Razer Onza RZ06, qui, soit dit en passant, fonctionne très bien sous Ubuntu. Si vous utilisez une manette de jeu, alors vous allez utiliser le joystick analogique de gauche pour vous déplacer et les boutons A-B-X-Y pour attaquer. Peu importe l'option que vous allez choisir, les actions seront identiques. Vous pouvez porter deux armes à la fois en plus d'un seul mouvement particulier. Vous pouvez modifier votre choix d'armes et/ou le choix des mouvements particuliers et ce, à tout moment, tant que ce n'est pas au cours d'une phase de combat. Pour effectuer les coups spéciaux, vous devez consommer l'intégralité d'une potion magique. Vous pouvez transporter jusqu'à trois potions magiques et trois flacons de médicaments. Les flacons de médicaments peuvent être remplis à plusieurs fontaines, mais il est toujours sage d'être prudent et de savoir quand utiliser une potion magique ou un flacon de médicament.**

Afin de redonner à Caeldonia sa gloire d'antan, le « Kid » se déplace à travers diverses terres multicolores et flottantes et doit récolter différents objets (des « Cores ») qui donneront du pouvoir au « Bastion » de sorte qu'il puisse recréer la grande Caeldonia qui existait autrefois. Sur le chemin, vous devez collecter différents types d'armes, des élixirs puissants et exotiques, et apprendre différents coups spéciaux qui amélioreront vos compétences de combat de sorte que vous puissiez vaincre un large éventail d'ennemis qui tenteront de vous empêcher de recueillir des Cores. Vous rencontrez également quelques personnages intéressants tout au long du chemin qui retournent au Bastion et interagissent avec le « Kid » pendant sa quête pour sauver Caeldonia. Le plus important de ces personnages est certainement un vieil homme nommé Rucks qui se trouve être également le narrateur de l'histoire ainsi que le mentor de l'enfant (le Kid) qu'il va aider tout au long du chemin.

 Overall, I give the game 4 out of 5 stars. The high price and short completion time, unfortunately, make me take out one full star. Other than that, it's a great game.  +**Je recommande vraiment ce jeu à tous. Depuis la première fois que j'y ai joué, je suis vraiment très impressionné par ses graphismes. Il peut être apprécié par les joueurs occasionnels comme par les ultra-gamers et que vous ayez 7 ou 77 ans !**

 +**Dans l'ensemble, je donne une note de 4 sur 5 pour ce jeu. Le prix élevé et le fait de pouvoir terminer ce jeu en moins de 5 heures lui fait perdre une cinquième étoile. Au-delà de ces considérations, c'est un très bon jeu et je lui aurais bien donné un 5 sur 5 s'il avait été un peu plus long et un peu moins cher (10 €?).**
