David Planella: Ubuntu Reminders app gets Evernote authentication David Planella announces that the Evernote Online Accounts provider is now available for Ubuntu, which is a key component for the upcoming Reminders app. At this point, the Evernote provider is for developers only, but it will be opened up for all users when Reminders puts out a stable release. Canonical News The new Ubuntu Resources Inayaili de Leőn Persson informs us that an alpha version of the Ubuntu Resources website has been launched so that feedback can be obtained, the design improved, and features expanded. Inayaili lists some of the content and features that are being worked on, and invites feedback by saying “We want to know what you like and what you think can be improved, or any other comments you might have - we've included a handy link to the feedback form at the bottom of every page.” http://design.canonical.com/2013/11/the-new-ubuntu-resources/ Juju ice-cream icon design Matthieu-James tells us that the Canonical Design Team wanted to replace the normal Juju icons for something “a little bit more special” in order to explain to people what kind of things Juju can do.“ They decided to use the idea of ice-cream, topping, and sauces in the same way that services can be built in Juju. Le nouveau site Ressources Ubuntu
Inayaili de Leon Persson nous informe qu'une version alpha du site Ressources Ubuntu a été lancée afin de pouvoir recevoir des retours d'information, en améliorer la conception et étendre les fonctionnalités. Inayaili énumère une partie du contenu et des fonctionnalités qui sont en cours d'élaboration et invite aux commentaires en disant : « Nous voulons savoir ce que vous aimez et ce qui, selon vous, peut être amélioré, ou tout autre commentaire que vous pourriez avoir. Nous avons inclus un lien pratique vers le formulaire de commentaires au bas de chaque page. »

Conception des icônes de crèmes glacées pour Juju
Matthieu-James nous dit que l'équipe de conception de Canonical voulait remplacer les icônes Juju standard par quelque chose « d'un peu plus spécial » afin d'expliquer aux gens le genre de choses que Juju peut faire. « Ils ont décidé d'utiliser le concept de la crème glacée, des décorations, et du nappage de la même façon que les services peuvent être construits dans Juju. Matthieu-James dit que l'ensemble du processus a pris quatre jours entre l'idée et la production des icônes finales et conclut que « c'était un projet très amusant à faire ».

Latest from the web team - November 2013 Inayaili de Leon Persson of the Canonical Web Team tells of the teams' highlights of the past four weeks. Inayaili lists the things the team has worked on which include the Canonical website, the Juju GUI, and discourse.ubuntu.com. She then goes on to say that the team is currently working on a live chat trial for the sales team, refining the Juju GUI for the 14.04 release, and improving the design of Ubuntu Resources. http://design.canonical.com/2013/11/latest-from-the-web-team-november-2013/ In The Press Ubuntu Linux server with ARM processor rolled out by Boston Limited Agam Shah of PCWorld writes that Boston Limited has announced a new ARM-based server that is certified to run Ubuntu 13.10.
