+Je n'ai pas compris pourquoi chaque chapitre commence par Wellington, New Zealand. A-t-il été écrit à ou pour Wellington ? Est-ce un cri d'amour de l'auteur pour sa ville ? Pourquoi à chaque chapitre ? Grand soupir.

At chapter three, you are introduced to the project you are about to make. Then you just get to dive in! Awesome. There is no horsing around with definitions and pointless examples, everything is task focussed, and you learn without realising it. You get to see the author’s thinking and reasoning through his drawings. Not all of it is hand-drawn though, there are full color pictures throughout.

Pick it up; it is hard to put down; you have that “one more page” feeling that you get in a non-fiction book, which is an achievement in itself. (I feel like I should be using exclamation marks after every sentence!).**

Ça ne plaisante pas ici avec les définitions et les exemples futiles ; chaque chose est liée au sujet et vous apprenez sans vous en rendre compte. Vous arrivez à voir les réflexions de l'auteur et son raisonnement à travers ses dessins. Si tout n'est pas dessiné à la main, il y a des images en couleur partout.

Commencez ; il vous sera difficile de le poser ; vous avez cette sensation de « encore une page » que vous trouvez dans un livre non romanesque, ce qui est une réussite. Pas besoin de le dire, le livre couvre vraiment tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour faire des jeux avec Lua sur votre Raspberry Pi. Couleurs, palettes de couleurs, GIMP, conception de l'interface graphique. Vraiment, c'est un livre complet. (J'ai l'impression qu'il faut mettre des points d'exclamation à la fin de chaque phrase !)

+Vous devez connaître Git ? Bon, c'est dedans aussi. Vous avez besoin de créer une musique pour votre jeu avec des outils Open Source ? Eh bien, c'est aussi dedans ! Je n'arrive pas à expliquer à quel point ce livre est bien fichu. Chaque chose est expliquée clairement et, nulle part, vous ne vous sentez abandonné. Il a été écrit en pensant à des gens avides de connaissances. Je peux recommander ce livre pour vraiment tout le monde. Bien écrit, bien conçu, bien réalisé. Vous ne pouvez pas sanctionné un livre avec tant d'informations et des explications claires et nettes. Supportez cet auteur, nous avons besoin de gens comme lui. Cassez votre tirelire, il les vaut. (Un peu cher localement, environ 60 dollars, mais il peut être acheté en ligne.) Ce sera mon seul point noir. Le prix le met hors de portée de la plupart des gens en formation et des étudiants. On ne peut qu'espérer que les bibliothèques le proposeront bientôt.
